Online tickets purchased for the Night of Museums can be exchanged for wristbands at the Castle Museum ticket office from June 2, 2026, during regular opening hours.

“Mohács Belongs to Us” – Historical Station Game

Step into the world of history in an exciting adventure game made up of different stations! The program is led by Margit Schmöltz and Sándor Cs. Szabó, authors of the book “Mohács Belongs to Us”, who await participants with unique tasks, thought-provoking questions, and playful challenges.
With every completed station, you move closer to the ultimate discovery: what kind of king would you be if the fate of the country were in your hands?
Astronomical Lectures and Stargazing

This year again, the Regiomontanus Group of the Hungarian Astronomical Association (MCSE) is preparing several fascinating astronomy-themed presentations. With the help of their equipment, visitors will also be able to observe currently visible celestial bodies and stars in the night sky.
Melodies Within the Castle Walls

Musician Csaba Németh’s all-evening performance will fill the castle spaces with a unique atmosphere. Together with his singer companion, he will wander through different locations, stopping from time to time to entertain visitors with music and songs. Their roaming melodies evoke the world of bygone eras while creating a joyful ambiance within the castle walls.
Archery Demonstration and Archery Experience

In the Queen’s Garden, visitors will have the opportunity to try archery thanks to the Rege Archers Traditional Sports Association. The association will open the program with a demonstration, followed by interactive archery activities and instruction involving the audience, allowing everyone to experience the techniques of this unique sport.
Interactive Detective Game

Enter the castle walls and solve the mystery of a suspicious death! Along the way, the story of a monk’s mysterious demise unfolds before you through lost codex fragments, witness testimonies, and dark secrets leading closer to the truth.
As you explore the castle chambers, you decide whom to trust, whom to suspect, and which direction the story should take. Was it an accident… or murder? Follow the clues and uncover what truly happened in the palace chapel!

Dance Steps from the Past

Visitors can enjoy an energetic folk dance performance by the Dió Banda ensemble. After the show, the audience will no longer remain mere spectators: during an interactive dance workshop, anyone can join in, learn the steps, and experience the joy of dancing together.

This year again, we are organizing our well-known headlamp-guided tour as the closing event of the evening. Our guide will lead visitors through the castle’s permanent exhibition — this time in near-total darkness. We provide the headlamps!
Gastro Courtyard
In front of the castle gate, visitors can enjoy lángos, sausage, pulled pork, refreshing drinks, and other delicious treats.
The Castle Museum can be visited independently until 23:00 on June 20, 2026.
After that time, only guests arriving for the “Headlamp-Guided Tour” program will be admitted.
