A bicentenary exhibition of Herend porcelain at the Esztergom Castle Museum

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of the Herend Porcelain Manufactory, a special exhibition has arrived at the Esztergom Castle Museum. “In the City of St. Stephen: Herend 200” offers visitors an insight into the 200-year history and artistic heritage of one of Hungary’s most internationally renowned porcelain manufacturers.

The exhibition brings together the historic heritage of Esztergom and the timeless elegance of Herend porcelain. Visitors can admire exceptional porcelain pieces that reflect not only the manufactory’s rich history and outstanding craftsmanship, but also the unique values of Hungarian cultural heritage.

The exhibition is open to visitors every day during the regular opening hours of the Hungarian National Museum – Esztergom Castle Museum.

Visitor information
In addition to the regular museum admission ticket, a separate exhibition ticket costing HUF 1,000 is required.
The exhibition ticket can be purchased at the museum ticket office.
The ticket must be presented to the exhibition attendant upon entering the exhibition.
For the comfort of visitors and the protection of the exhibited objects, a maximum of 6 people may enter the exhibition space at one time.
